East Brighton saw the return of the Clowns outfit… its a bit unclear whether automatic membership to ICOC is still available, but RJ came prepared with a special shirt to go with the clowns outfit…

Steel Steals the Show at East Brighton..

The 2019 campaign got underway at East Brighton this week and guess who grabbed all the prizes?

Captain Del grabs the Green Jacket at East Brighton with 38 wet points.

In some challenging wind and rainy conditions, Del managed to shoot a great 38 points to win the day…took the nearest the pin prize as well but couldn’t rig the matchplay draw…more on that later…

Dion Came in 2nd with a good 36 points and Puff and Turkish were close behind with 35 points.. Full details on the latest results pages..

2018 Reflection..

As we look forward to celebrating our 30th year across 2019, here are some highlights from the last year under the captaincy of Damski…

Subs are now due for 2019

As we celebrate our 30th year, we have a wonderful programme of golf days booked for 2019. We hope every member can take the opportunity to join as many days as possible throughout the year.

The committee have reviewed the itinerary and costs for the year and have agreed to keep the subs at £25 for 2019, with a maximum cost of £65 per golf day.

Please pay your subs to Roger in the usual way before the end of January to enjoy our 2019 events!

Christmas Golf Day Success for the Ashby’s

This years family golf day saw 31 players take to Hill Barn golf course in glorious Dec sunshine, to contest the Christmas spoils generously provided by our new captain, Derek Steel.

The team prizes went to team Ashby with guest guest, Damski with a total of 95 points (2 from 4) with Dels team coming second (no prize) with 91

Individual prize went to Sam Ashby  with 43 points

Nearest the pins went to Jack Ashby on the 5th and Blair on the 17th.

Next years Family day has been booked for the same date – Fri 27th Dec 2019…just so you don’t double book anything!..

Pitts holds nerve to win Merit Trophy…Finally!

Pitts holed out on the 18th with a nervy up and down from behind a bunker to win this years Merit Trophy by one point from Target. Going into the last round with a 3 point lead over Jez, a solid 36 points saw hime home after Jez posted 38 points.

An unbelievable 50 points on the Upper in the morning catapulted Puff into the final group to add a bit of spice to the day.  That two-stroke handicap will finally go…

Beaver won the merit round with a very impressive 40 points…  and the latest and last recruit to be admitted this year to ICOC was Colesy.       Well done to all who made this years final countdown another excellent day!..
