Wally Wins Windy Pyecombe

An excellent first golf day of 2022 at Windy Pyecombe was enjoyed by 22 on Thursday 17th Feb..

Lots to play for with Merit points up for grabs, a mystery pairs comp and Pritch was back with the book! Proper TAGS day!

Wally wins the 1st Green Jacket of 2022.. 2nd place was hiding behind Puff..beaten on count back….

2nd place went to Paynie*…just missing out on count back with 38 points (did I say that?) and 3rd was Beaver with 37 points… Cut with no prize in 4th was Rookie with 35 points…

It wasn’t easy out there and Oggie became the first recruit to the ICOC 2022 intake with 26 points.. Puff added a bottle of wine to help him forget the ordeal and help rosy up those cheeks… Oggie seems pleased:

Nearest the Pin was won by Gibby Retired playing in the final group of Gibb, Gibb, Gibb and Gibbs Guest….couldnt make it up..?..

Finally we added a bit of extra spice to the proceedings with a Mystery Pairs prize which on count back, with a combined 70 points went to Beaver and Dodge. Unfortunately just missing out (again) with 70 points was Paynie* and Wooters.

Here’s looking forward to Tyrell’s Wood on 10th March!..
