This trophy, a bronze golfer at the top of his backswing standing on a polished wooden plinth, was presented by Tony Harvey in 1991. The competition is a singles match play knockout with 16 participants. Entry is gained by winning a golf day in the preceding year, or being the current holder. The Captain then invites a number of others to make the field of 16.
